What is #72 doing???

I don't think he had the speed or angle to actually make the block on the second play, but my God that is a really bad look. You have to say least put in some effort.

The OL overall played like crap. The walk on was consistently beat by Breese and the transfer from Clemson played slow and no energy.

I don't like calling out our fellas like this. I did it myself like night for another player, but I was drinking too much and I regret it today. At least it was buried in the middle of a thread with a zillion posts, not on its own thread. He is apparently the best option that we have right now. I'm sure he's not happy with the way things turned out last night. How about we give him a break and focus on the guys making six and seven figures?

Hey, öööö you, I didn't miss the ööööing block.

You are an awful person to call out your own players like this.

Yell at your TV, cuss under your breath but don’t criticize the family in public.

FWIW, I think on both of them he knew or at least thought the play was past him. On the first I think that is 100% true. He sprinted hard and then let up when the RB was just past him.

Overall he played great for a first time starter so Tech fans are showing their ass by making this a story.

I understand the motivation in not wanting to call out individual player. Lord knows I'm not now, nor have I ever been talented enough to make a P5 football team.

On the other hand, how many thread have there been calling out Sims or players in the secondary for mistakes? This is (at least supposed to be) big boy football and if you don't play well, people are going to notice. I noticed the second play specifically live last night, and I'm an idiot. It looks really bad.

These dudes are going to college (a top tier one at that) for FREE yet we can’t talk about the reason they don’t get a bill? And I wonder how long any of them worked on their GT application? Oh that’s right, they didn’t have to. The players wanted to be professionals so now they can live with the call outs. Game 1 on national TV and that’s the effort you give for your teammate who gets bulldozed by a sprinting defensive player.
