What is #72 doing???

I understand the motivation in not wanting to call out individual player. Lord knows I'm not now, nor have I ever been talented enough to make a P5 football team.

On the other hand, how many thread have there been calling out Sims or players in the secondary for mistakes? This is (at least supposed to be) big boy football and if you don't play well, people are going to notice. I noticed the second play specifically live last night, and I'm an idiot. It looks really bad.

If there is an obvious mistake like a bad snap then that is one thing. To put together a video of a couple of plays and question a player like this is different. All players have a couple of plays a game where they could have done a little more.

These dudes are going to college (a top tier one at that) for FREE yet we can’t talk about the reason they don’t get a bill? And I wonder how long any of them worked on their GT application? Oh that’s right, they didn’t have to. The players wanted to be professionals so now they can live with the call outs. Game 1 on national TV and that’s the effort you give for your teammate who gets bulldozed by a sprinting defensive player.
You CAN.

Doesn't mean one should.

Not every player wanted NIL.

Shouldn't you be out campaigning for your hero Biden?

Excellent point. Professionals are called out every Sunday. With NIL these players are now professionals with less incomes than the NFL but nonetheless still getting paid for their efforts.

I don't think he had the speed or angle to actually make the block on the second play, but my God that is a really bad look. You have to say least put in some effort.
This..

But the 1st one was just lack of effort and quitting before the whistle blew.

He looked gassed to me, which is ridiculous considering that both were 1st half plays. Who's our S&C coach? Might as well throw him under the bus with Key & the Clown.

It’s a bad look. And I hope getting called out on a message board is the least of his concerns. If Key is coaching them, everyone on that unit has seen that as an example of how to find the bench.

A lot of linemen have issues getting to the second and third levels to block which is strange because it is awesome to knock the öööö out of someone you outweigh by 50-100 lbs.

It's the first game, he'll get it soon. Don't focus too much on one play

It takes a real asshole to go on a public message board and rag on an individual player like this. You have no idea what’s going on on these plays.

You should grovel at the feet of the mods and beg them to delete this thread, you blithering douchebag. I hope your dog öööös on your carpet and the robot vacuum spreads it all over the house.

Robot vacuum cleaner. That's a good analogy for offensive linemen blocking downfield. Aimless wandering and often goes right past the thing it's supposed to pick up, but when it does get it it gobbles it up. Thanks for that. #72 shall henceforth be known as Roomba.

It makes a huge difference when you're coaching 4* and 5* offensive lineman at Alabama versus 2* and 3* offensive lineman at GT
which tells me this coaching staff has a hard time coaching up players. I am still waiting on all those 4* and 5* players we were
supposed to be able to recruit once GT got away from CPJ's flex-bone offense.
