We played against 5 of the top 11 DT & 3 of the top 17 DE.

What stud DL players will we face this year?

off the top of my head:

Clemson- Dequan Bowers (stud recruit, freshman last year). Clemson always has pretty good DEs

UNC- Marvin Austin. #1 DT recruit a year or 2 ago. Hasn't wowed people yet, but he's still a good player.

UGA- they get Jeff Owens back from injury

Duke- Vince Oghobasse- stud DT, chose to play his senior year instead of going to NFL. probably would have been 3rd or 4th DT chosen

FSU and Miami will have athletic guys, though none come to mind

Surely VT will put up some studs too...

Both of Clemson's DT's will be formidable. Thompson and Jenkins are both 300pounders.

I found a list on Footballnews.com for the 2010 Draft.

Surely VT will put up some studs too...

Unless I am reading their posts wrong, VT fans are concerned about their DE situation. I didn't get the impression that DT is a particular strength for them this year either but I may have assumed something wrong.

VT will have a great D of course, but it won't be because of superstars on the line.

We struggled with VT DL last year but it was mostly do to our OL inexperience and not adjusting our blocking scheme to the DT that pinched in the middle. Missisippi State & Florida State tried similiar Defense and we burnt them
