Contribute to this or THE TECH WAY???

Football success draws additional fans and addition contributions across the board. High tide raises all ships.

If you can only afford one, I'd say the Tech Way. We have plenty of donors to the GTAA in general, and the GT foundation is providing that large match to the CDI2, so I would think the Tech Way NIL fund needs "solo" donations the most.

I heard that we're in the middle of the road as far as the NIL is concerned.. I'm looking to donate to that more.

I thought JBatt had alluded to that we were in an interview when he was asked about it.
Our target is $3m which would then put us middle of pack. Not there yet, at least that's my understanding. At least that's how I'm going to phrase it to push my objective that we need more money there and need to max out GT foundation match on CDI as well.

This is what I recommend as a giving plan in general:
  1. Season tickets. Buy season tickets and attend games. Give away tickets to friends, family, co-workers (or hobos on here that are too cheap to buy a ticket) for the games you can’t attend. For those who don’t have season tickets and want to get in on Haynes King Heisman run next year you can get tickets in the upper north below the rail for $325/seat right now. (https://ramblinwreck.evenue.net/)
  2. Alexander-Tharpe Fund. Renew your gift from Competitive Drive 1 so you can get the double AT points. If you did not give last year, give $500 to Competitive Drive 2. Your giving will be matched to the Heisman level, and you will get invited to the leadership tailgate before a game next year. You are going to want to start banking those AT points for when playoff tickets are allocated next year. (https://atfund.org)
  3. The Tech Way. Sign up for a subscription or make a one-time donation. Do this before 12/11 to have the money matched. You can also allocate the money directly to “football.” (https://www.thetechway.com/)
*Giving to the general scholarship fund as part of the Competitive Drive campaign works towards the goal of getting all GT sports scholarships endowed. Scholarships are a huge annual expense for the athletics department. By having scholarships fully endowed this helps the athletic department better manage their cash flow and be more flexible in priorities. Also, you can feel good knowing that your money goes 100% to helping a student-athlete be able to afford a college education when they may not be able to otherwise.

I like the cut of your jib.
