I think everyone would say that beating UGA was their favorite moment, but as far as an actual play goes, I would say that the fumble recovery versus FSU was mine. That single play produced one of my crazed responses to a football game ever... I was kneeling in front of the tv banging my fists on the ground like a 3 year old. I'd also put the fumble recovery off the kickoff against UGAy in the 3rd quarter up there too, because that was the first time I felt that we could actually end up winning the game while watching it.

The other reason for me starting this thread was that I didn't think there was enough skin on this message board, so here's a BOTD:

Those are some serious stripper shoes...

Defense:
Fumble recovery agianst FSU

Offense:
Dwyers TD run to start the 2nd half of mutt game, with Jone's long TD run later that game a close 2nd.

Def: Fumble recovery vs F$U

Off.: Dwyers 45-50 yd run to give Tech the lead at BC. Things had been bottled up most of the day, but that one play turned the whole game around.

O - I enjoyed Deisel's long TD run up the gut versus Miami. He broke like 12 tackles and then turned on the jets.

D - Morgan Burnett's pick-6 on the Big Spoon.

The whole second half against the Mutts when we were on offense. All the plays in that half were equally important IMHO and made me ecstatic, even a 6-yard run on a first down or a first down run on a third down.

Just barely 'most favorite' play out of that half would be the fumble recovery, as that gave us the chance for the tie.

The FSU fumble recovery is huge in my mind.

Dwyer's 60 yard gallop to open the second half was the tone-setter that helped bring a win against UGA. His TD right after the fumble was great as well --as was the fumble recovery on the lickoff. I see the trend here --the entire 3rd quarter was memorable.

But I will go one quarter further:

GT vs UGA
4th quarter, 10 minute mark, GT up 38-35.

Josh Nesbitt gets up hobbling after a five yard gain to the GT 35, goes to the sidelines, and freshman Jaybo Shaw enters the game with a 2nd and 5. Jaybo gains one yard to make it 3rd and 4, Jaybo then pitches to Roddy Jones who gains seven yards --picking up a critical first down.

Jaybo is then nearly decapitated in gaining one yard, and Nesbitt returns, gaining two yards to bring up a 3rd and 7 from the GT 46. Josh then pitches to Roddy Jones, who scampers up the sidelines, staying in bounds for a 54 yard touchdown that IMO put the game away at that point.

Offensive series of the year.

Fumble recovery, the run after it and the pandemonium in the 600 sections and on the Tech sideline. There's not a single Tech game I've that came close to that. Only the '04 Clemson game comes close as far as GT games I've watched.

Dwyer's 88 yd TD run against MSU. I was sitting in the jackets nest and had the same line of sight down the field as Dwyer. The moment he got the pitch I looked down the field and I knew he was going to take it the distance.

I liked the last snap of the UGa game to run out the clock.

The Tech sideline jumping and cheering while Richt had a "heart-to-heart" with his puppies.

What I really like about Dwyer is it's not a question of if he can be caught from behind. The question is can the defender stay in the camera shot by the time JD crosses into the endzone.

You know, that's my only gripe about Roddy Jones. He doesn't seem to have the break-away speed that Dwyer has. Or maybe he does, he just hasn't developed it. I recall one of his longer runs during the UGAg game where he got chased down from behind by a safety. Maybe their safety was just faster or Roddy was tired, who's to say. I just think had it been Dwyer with the ball on that play, it would have been taken to the house. I can't remember if we ended up scoring on that drive or not.
