What\'s up with Brandon Miller from Colquitt GA (recruiting)?

Honestly, I haven't kept up with recruiting like in recent years. Was curious about any vibes in the media with this young man.

Without knowing much, am hearing he's hands down best player in state.

Thanks! Go Jackets!

He has schollys from most schools in the south.. Tech has offered .. he has attended camp at Tech.. liked it there.. but is wide open as to where he who he will sign with...

GTT - seems to be the consensus he is absolutely the best player in the state.

It would seem a tough task to get him out of Colquitt Co. (Charles Grant was the last big name out of here), but he has camped at Tech, and one report I saw (interviewer had nothing to do with Tech) he stated he really liked the fundamental coaching he got at the Tech camp.

The only question is where to play this young man - LB? DE? WR?

On the surface, it actually looks like this could be a pretty good recruting year - we are leading or in the top 2 for the best offensive player in Ga (Calvin Johnson), Calvin Booker at QB is looking at us heavily, best Safety in Fla. has us in his top 2, fatest player in Fla has us leading (Lamar Lewis).

My opinion is that if we go .500 on the field this year, it will translate into a pretty good class. If the wheels come off, I could see kids going elsewhere.

One area you don't see a lot of mutual interest, that I think we could use the help on, is the RB position.

All in this idiots opinion, of course.

One of Gailey's claim to offensive fame is developing good running backs. It does appear every time a back gets hurt, he plugs another one in, and the running game is still pretty effective.

Last year, it was the ineffectiveness of the passing game that was the big killer.

I believe Gailey will eventually start attracting big time runners at Tech.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">astute observation. o'leary left the 'board so bare that we didn't have a QB or a RB when he alond with BOB and roof decided to bolt for ND.

suddenly, a backup safety is converted to a RB. suddenly, a walk on arrives out of nowhere.
suddenly, a 5th year senior in the perennial doghouse of o'leary finds himself contributing
suddenly, freshmen backup backup safeties at RB

lots of suddenly
