When ESPN goes bankrupt...

Neither USC nor UCLA comes even close to selling out their games. If their fan base is widespread (a big IF), it's thinner than a dime and more fickle than Taylor Swift. I used to live and work in LA. There are a lot better things to do there than get mugged near the Mausoleum.
Simply not true. USC was a hard ticket under Pete Carroll. The apathy from the fans towards Helton took a toll before COVID. Last year was a train wreck. I’ll be will to bet under Lincoln Riley that won’t be the case.

UCLA is the head scratcher. Even against LSU they had a lot of empty seats last year.

As far as stadiums in not so great areas……You might not want to throw too many stone’s at a glass house anytime soon.

B1G is now Fox at noon, CBS at 3:30, NBC at 7:30 or so. $350/year payout/16 schools and leaves ESPN out and relegated the SEC to streaming only. So every household in America can watch B1G football. That is how I see this.
Just another negative value stream for ESPN.
I say let's get some B1G yesterday. They need Atlanta. We would sell out every game at Bobby Dodd/Grant Field or Mercedes! The money show will pull ND in.

What is this, 1930 where we measure fan support solely by the gate? Those programs have fans EVERYWHERE. It's like Miami. There attendance is terrible unless they're in the top 5 but still there are "Da U" fans all over the place.
