Technique, recognition, and communication are horrible.
It's amazing to watch the lack of communication compounded by the total confusion as to whom each player should be blocking.
Go back and watch the pick six play. The LG pulled to pass block on the right side. The ND edge rusher was picked up by Gibbs. The pulling guard didn't have anyone to block, hesitated for a beat and decided to go help Gibbs. The ND LB was on a delayed blitz (or just saw an opportunity) and ran untouched to Yates behind the LG.

Why the blocking complexity on a straight drop back passing play?

This would be a cuck thread if we were 7-4 and just lost 14-3 to ND on the road.

We're 3-8 and just got nuked 55-0. We're in the bottom five of P5 teams.
Oh no!!!! We have to play UGAg! öööö them. Let's beat their asses.

This is likely a good illustration of the problem. I saw a few instances of similar things as well. Feels like we might be attempting schemes that are a bit too complex for their own good.

I doubt we get shutout against UGA. They'll be resting people in preparation for the SEC champ game. We'll likely get a late useless TD that Geoff will celebrate cause it means the margin is getting smaller.

They haven’t been resting many people all year. On defense specifically they are striving to be the #1 D in the county as they try to break some SEC records. Theyve had 2 goal line stands this year on the last play of the game. Starters playing with 40 point leads.

Their third stringers are also better than our starters. Gibbs is probably the only player on our team that would see the field for them, and he’d return kicks and be one of their platoon back.

We could play Georgia 1,000 times and not come within 10 points once. Hence why everyone is largely upset with Collins and TStan and wants changes. This isn't mamby-pamby 2004 CFB where anyone can win on any given day.

If Sims plays, that ruins the "but the QB was hurt" excuse. So it'll be Yates even though we have a 3rd string QB who has been practicing better than ever.
Yates is not ready for prime time with the supporting cast he has been given. Both coordinators need to be shipped to Conference-USA.
