Coach G has just plain out got to turn him loose. Try to throw every play & let him scramble if necessary. The rest of Coach's game plan just does not work at all. Chan's got the QB, but has NO plan to go with it whatsoever, so Coach MUST let Reggie play the game as Reggie sees it. This would be very similar to the Joe Hamilton style.
Ball & the whole team responded to the 'hurry-up', 'helter-skelter' type play of the last 2 mins. Reggie was simply amazing! His scrambling ability is very dangerous & keeps the opposing D totally off kilter. Reggie's 1st last min, come-from-behind win should/could set the stage for a tremendous burst of offensive energy over the rest of the season. A defining game for Reggie Ball!
Tremendous job by Reggie to not hand off in OT, but to use his option to keep on a naked bootleg. With the entire offense going to the right, Vandy's entire D went with it. Brilliant move by Reggie!
The game winner was Reggie's 43 yd scramble after trying to pass on 3rd & 3 with under 2 min to play. As he was rolling, he was directing traffic to set up his cut back. Nice speed down the sideline. Reminded me of Woodrow Dantzler, as well as, Hamilton. This run gave the entire team hope of pulling it out from behind.
Coach Gailey, the era of Reggie ball needs to be ushered in now!
