Which Bowl?

I believe the Gator Bowl is now the Taxslayer Bowl, which alternates years with the Music City for ACC teams. This year, the ACC gets the Taxslayer.
Ok, that makes sense, but the Military would be real disappointing. VT would be perfect for it because we simply won't travel very well to cold weather and distant site on a Tuesday thereby reinforcing that we never travel well. Put us in Charlotte, Nashville, or Florida coming off a UGA win and we'll do fine, but Annapolis on a Tuesday could be a disaster for attendance.

The bowl prospects are frustrating since Tech was 5-1 in the second half of the season and won their last 3 games, including wins over VT and the dwags. Nevertheless, we finished 8-4 (4-4) and the conference or season records of a bunch of ACC teams are better than ours:

Clemson 11-1 (7-1)
Louisville 9-3 (7-1)
VT 9-3 (6-2)
FSU ? (5-3)
UNC 8-4 (5-3)
UM 8-4 (5-3)
Pitt 8-4 (5-3)

Tech 8-4 (4-4), and we lost to 4 of the teams ahead of us. With 4 head-to-head losses and a worse conference record than 7 other teams, I just don't see us leap-frogging anybody. There is the possibility of the Cap One or Citrus taking an ACC team and that could help.

I could definitely see that happening, and I want no part of it.
Our defense practices against the option all the time and we'll have weeks to prepare. Navy ded.

But seriously, I don't believe either team should be there, iiwii with Tech, but I believe Navy should be in a better bowl (we screwed ourselves earlier in the season).

Ken from the AJC is speculating it'll be the Belk Bowl in Charlotte.

We lose on purpose. Paul doesn't want to reveal the blueprint.
