Which Jackets have the "green light" on 8/31?

Here are some people I wouldn't count out.

We all know who will handle field goals at least inside the 40, but don't count out David Jordan. Believe he'll be used if he has consistant stronger leg on kickoffs regardless of waisting a red shirt.

LB: Few more could make some noise before.
Anthony Lawston
Ather Brown (hurt all spring, but will be healthy come fall)
Gerris Wilkinson (Last two weeks of spring he really came on strong)
Sterling Green

TE: Just a feeling about George Cooper

CB: Denise Davis

DE: Fred Wright

WR: Don't count out Mark Logan at the slot. He's shifty

Tackle: Salih Besirevic. We need debth here. At times this spring I thought he looks real good. The consistancy should come in time. Will he be ready?

OL: Gavin Tarquinio. Didn't get to see what he can really do this spring because he was banged up. Hear he is a super athlete.

DT: Leron Lee could play some with a unit that I believe the coaching staff will substite frequiently to keep them fresh. We don't have any one domiating player here yet. With more size on that frame I can see Parker some day being THE MAN though.

I like your list Axe. Injuries and school will play a big roll in all of this. Things will also change during 2-a-days.

GOL used to talk about players having the "green light" to play on Saturdays. Many of the young players that were hyped by the previous staff in spring and summer rarely saw the field come fall. I think this staff will play more folks but which ones will they feel comfortable with on August 31st. These are the guys I think will have the "green light" as long as the game is in doubt against Vandy.
