White Out vs. NCState

I look at it this way....NCS just wants in on the action...let's just say this is another way to "KEEP THE RED OUT" at BDS! Last year was awesome and it did take lots of work. My company did it's share in sponsorship (shirts and shakers) and others did as well. It may look simple, but it is difficult and very time consuming. But I am ALL for it again. We just need to spread the word everywhere, get the GTAA to do it's share, RamblinWreck.com, advertising, etc. I just think that if Penn State can do this with 100K fans we can as well!
GO JACKETS!

Now that they will wear red, can we back out on having a white out and have one with Miami? I don't see why we won't have one on our by far best home game.

If you guys think about it, the white out NCSU thing is pretty smart. They're already going to sell a lot of tickets for Miami. Here's a gimmick to sell some extra tickets for NCSU.

Well actually, as for the choice of the game, there has been a pattern here. NC St will be our first meaningful home game of the season. Clemson was the same last year. In 2008 the white out was suppose to be for the Miss St game, which was also the first meaningful home game of the season.

1) I've heard rumblings that Miami is going to want to wear white too

2) You REALLY want to have a white-out in the middle of November?

I would guess that they remember us beating them mercilessly two years ago during our first WhiteOut and they figure that if they don't let the players wear the home white, we can't do the WhiteOut again.

It worked pretty well in 2008.
It worked about half as well as last years. Nobody has white coats/hoodies to wear when it's 40deg out.

Call them yetmans or whatever, but you're going to have a lot more success if people can just throw on a white T vs having to go buy something warm and white.

HALF? Half is a ridiculous exaggeration. Last year's definitely turned out better not by twice as much. And if you recall, it was pretty cold for the Clemson game that night.

Cold? For the first Clemson game? On September 10? Sorry, I don't remember that.
