Saban doing him a solid and his son in law is on staff. Most likely his head coaching days are in the rear view, but he isn't quite ready for full retirement
Whiz was on a team (Arizona) that sold a couple years after the super bowl and that Titans team is and was a mess.
That’s a 5-year span between his firing and the Titans AFC CG appearance. They just weren’t much good the 2-3 years before, during, and the 2-3 years after his tenure there. Don’t blame that mess on him. Now he didn’t fix it, for sure, but the owner has to give you the tools to do so.Huh? What does KW have to do with the Titans? He left there (fired) in 2015 after winning a grand total of 3 games in 2 years. Well after, the Titans went to the AFC championship game in 2020 and were the number 1 seed in the AFC last year.
Not making an argument for KW here, I was glad they didn't hire him when he interviewed last time. But his failures are not the Titans failures, I think Ken is the type of guy who is smart enough to get near the top, but isn't going to be successful as the man in charge. I think he could be a great OC here but even putting his age aside I don't see him ever contending for a P5 head coaching job again.
