This is the latest from espn.com. I hope we get Johnson. According to Dem, some of these guys have already been interviewed. Someone is lying.

Connecticut coach Randy Edsall, who guided the Huskies to a national ranking and 9-3 record this season, has emerged as one of the leading candidates to replace Chan Gailey at Georgia Tech. Edsall, who worked as the Yellow Jackets' defensive coordinator in 1998, was seen Thursday morning flying to Atlanta from Hartford, Conn. Edsall also worked three years as secondary coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, working under Tom Coughlin. A Georgia Tech official confirmed Thursday night that no candidates have yet been interviewed for the job. Other candidates believed to be in the mix at Georgia Tech include: former Washington coach Rick Neuheisel, Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, East Carolina coach Skip Holtz, Navy coach Paul Johnson and Florida defensive coordinator Charlie Strong.
 
I'm going with Dems every time, thank you.

I really want Hatcher but it looks doubtful. If that's the case then I'm for Muschamp.

Heck, what do I know? I trust DRad and I think any of them would be great.

I'm pumped about the future with any of them.

Good job everybody, you ran dems off! He isnt coming back. Has anybody ever met Dem in person? How do we know that he isnt just some random guy that reads every newspaper?
 
I think you guys have been duped. What info has Dem given in the past that was so "insider info"? I am new and was just curious?

Hush, we haven't been duped.

There's too much flim-flam going around to start questioning whether Dems is for real or not.

Even before this coaching change, Dem has provided a vast amount of information on a continous basis.

His weekly reports preceding each game contained very detailed updates on players, injuries, strategy, and game plans.

IMO, things only an insider could provide.

Strategy? Not offensive strategy the past few years :laugher:So he is buddies with an equipment manager or his son is friends with Tenuta's son? Big deal. Dem said Muschamp has been interviewed and I am telling you that he hasn't been. You will hear over the weekend that he interviews on Saturday.

You're new, which also means it's generally not a good idea to tell the rest of the posters that they've been "duped".

For instance, dem told us probably a month or two ago Paul Johnson wasn't a viable candidate, and this seems to be becoming clearer everyday.

Additionally, he was the first person to say Roberson lost his starters job to Burnett, among other personnel moves and news.

In other words, I'm a believer.

I don't know for a fact that Dem said that Muschamp had a formal interview - but even if he did, he's a far more reliable source than you.

Like I said, easy info to obtain if you know a person or two. Doesn't mean he works at the GTAA. I could've provided you with all that kind of injury info for 5 years when my buddies were football managers. Does anyone know his name? I love the shroud of mystery of all this :laugher:

How do you know? you don't even know who I am. I work in the AA too for all you know. You will see...Muschamp interview Sat.
 
Well, as the Jacket said, who am I more likely to believe? The guy who's been feeding us info all year or some random dude with the word "scat" in his screen name who joined the board today, seemingly with the explicit purpose of attacking dem's credibility?
