Who should we hire?

Dust, please enlighten us why Terry Bowden would be good for GT.

You keep on pushing him, yet you do not give any reasons why.

What is Tater Tot proven as? He had a couple of decent years with other coach's players but couldn't recruit at Auburn? How can you not be able to recruit at Auburn?

Bowdens 5th year at Auburn was a 10 win season. Unless he fielded 22 5th year seniors, they were probably mostly his recruits. I am still waiting on a 10 win season from CG in a normally mediocre conference.

He won 20 straight games at Auburn.. does it really make a difference with whose players he did it? Pat Dye couldnt do it with his own players.. So if anything its an accomplishment to take kids someone else recruited, coach to their strengths and cut a swath through 20 straight opponents.

It wasn't his coaching ability that hurt him at Auburn. We all know there were problems off the field. So freaking what? He needs to pay forever for indiscretions he made in his 30s? Its been 10 years. Give me a break. Either you haters are all holy saints or huge hipocrites.. I am guessing the latter.. in NCJacket's case, it is just ignorance Im sure.

Maybe not, but if everyone is against hiring the obvious best candidate, then no one can complain when they get stuck with another lemon for a head coach.

Your ignorance mocks you. The Sporting News reported in July 2007 that Bowden has NOW decided to re-enter coaching in the 2008 season if the right situation presents itself. So the timing is perfect.

And if you think you are privvy to any job offerings he may be receiving, you are not ignorant, you are a dumbass. :laugher:

So why don't you crawl back up RR's butt until you get your facts straight, or maybe one day he will post here and you can make parrot replies to make yourself feel important. But until then, your postings are more like droppings...
