Who Stays?

M. Burnett = Leaves
D. Morgan = Stays
J. Dwyer = Leaves
D. Thomas = Leaves

Bay Bay is bye bye.
The rest probably come back for a huge 2010.

I think they all stay unless if Morgan Burnett becomes an INT leader like last year.

I very seriously doubt Uno leaves this year. It would not be a wise decision. He'd likely be the #3 safety drafted this year, while he has a great shot at being #1 at safety next year. Top 10-15 money is huge.

Worst case:
M. Burnett = Stays
D. Morgan = Leaves
J. Dwyer = Leaves
D. Thomas = Leaves

Thomas looks like the #2 or #3 receiver in the draft (Julio Jones and AJ Green are not eligible). I can see Dez Bryant and maybe Golden Tate in front of him.

Dwyer can be the #2 RB in the draft behind Best if the NFL scouts look at his ability and not his 2009 stats. If they focus on his 2009 stats he will be like 4th.

Morgan could be a fringe second rounder, but probably third.

Burnett is small and will probably stay.

Its within the realm of possibility that they all come back if they see a National Championship on the table for 2010 but that involves winning the ACC and the orange bowl this season.

But that rookie salary cap is gonna kill us...

Rookie salary cap starting next season.

Anyone I missed?

Thoughts?

All stay. This isn't the NBA.

In general, only the elite of the elite underclassmen go into the draft - and while all 4 are very good college players I don't think any would be considered elite players. This year may be different with the NFL collective bargaining agreement coming up and talk of restricted rookie contracts - that could tempt guys who wouldn't otherwise jump to go ahead and do it.

Anyone that thinks that Dwyer is staying, isn't looking at the field of RB's in this year's class. JD will be either the 1st or 2nd back taken.

Best will be taken later because of his size. Spiller will be taken much later because of his size and durability issues.

On a more optimistic note.

Thomas looks like he will do better in this draft than next year's draft so he might bolt.

Dwyer is a pretty safe pick for #1 RB next year.

Morgan looks like he has a great chance at #1 DE next year.

We may just lose Thomas, or maybe not even.

I can see all 4 staying.
But I think one will end up leaving.

The reason I think Dwyer leaves is because of the beating he takes at the BBack position. He gets hit on every play.

The others I have no idea about.

In a worst case scenario (Dwyer is mediocre for the rest of the season because defenses key in on him) he could be behind Best, Devine, McKnight, Dixon, and Spiller.

Worst case #6. Thats like the 4th round. I think Dwyer will probably leave this season at around #2-3 RB in the draft in the late first or early second round but I also see a big possibility of him staying.

After reading some I agree the Bebe is the biggest possiblity to leave, Burnett, Josh, and Dwyer are all close and might wanna come back to go fro the whole enchilada like everyoone is saying

Dwyer is long gone (90%). I think Morgan goes too is his stock is right (70%). Thomas I am not sure, where does his stock lie? Does he leave to be a 3rd round pick? (50%). Burnett I think returns (His stock has to be falling, has looked a step slow, and next year will be a better year to come out as a safety). (20%).

Thomas is likely a first rounder at #2 WR. I rank him above Dwyer (but I also rank Dwyer lower than you do).

In fact all this crap around Dez Bryant being ineligible might push Thomas up to #1 WR.

Bryant being ineligible isn't going to hurt him. What did he even do? He was working out with NFL players over the off season? That won't hurt him.

That being said if Bebe is the #2 WR I think he will go, just not really sure that he will be. WR is a hard position to project from a draft standpoint. Alot depends on the WR's combine. Heyward Bey was from from a top college WR and went top 10 because of his combine (and Al Davis).

It might convince Bryant to stay another season? All I know is that being ruled ineligible for most of the season certainly won't help Bryant even if it doesn't hurt much. But I think #2 is about right.
