Who the Coaches Voted For

Polls made more sense when it was bowl committees picking bowl contestants and the polls themselves didn't affect who was playing who. The politicking now for 2/3 of the BCS is bordering on ridiculous. We need...something...better than giving a small group of humans power over who goes and doesn't go to the "national championship" game.

Horsepocky! The guy has every right to vote his team #2, and I would expect him to given what he's up against. Remember he's the TECH school in his state. Its a friggen popularity contest. All those one loss split by hypothetical hairs are equally deserving.
 
Frank Beamer voted his ACC champion team that beat Georgia Tech #23 and GT #13.

Vegas is the right answer.

How to make that happen is another question altogether.
 
I second/third the vegas idea. I don't know how you do it though. Considering the NCAA wants to stay far far away from betting, I don't know how you do it. But I do agree that it is the most honest method of doing it. I guess that could take a computer and make it do the rankings and secretly feed in the Vegas odds to determine the rankings of individual teams ... just kiddidng.
