who will be commit #12?

For those wondering about HOPE. It only pays for tuition. Sure it helps in the minor sports, but it is less than a third of a full ride. Full ride in one hand/one third scholly in the other. If he picks the one third he will pretty much flunk out at any school he chooses. It would help if he wanted to walk on but that is it.

So oldgold, if I'm following the point of your post, if he chooses to enter Tech on a gray shirt, he's too stupid to be coming here anyway? Maybe the coaches have explained that he can't get one this year, but promise one next season or sooner (if another opens up) and his brother will get an offer next season as well? Maybe he's seeing the longer view instead of simply next season?

He is saying anyone who would rather have a 1/3 scholly over a full ride is stupid. At least that's how I interpreted it.

But 1/3 for one year and a full ride for the next 3-4 at a school you really want to go to versus a full ride to your second choice....which is a better deal?

Sometimes I wonder who is and isn't a Tech fan here. None of us here is close to the situation and to blindly call out a kid as dumb is way way overboard.

IMO it just shows how big of a GT fan he is and that he wants to play QB. He has my respect for doing that.

We have one spot left right now....but would take both Kareem Martin (should know by the end of Sept.) and Kony Ealy (after football season or perhaps January). Ryan White is still a hard situation to predict.

Wait, didn't we recently have a couple of players leave Tech thus opening up a scholly or two?
