Who's seen enough?

I've seen enough to tell me this defensive staff is not working. 30 YPC is indefensible. BC probably doubled their scoring average against us. Who among us thought we'd get a stop on the 3rd and long when we absolutely had to have it? Sure enough, a guy runs wide open down the middle of the field for an easy completion.

Multiple teams this season have destroyed their average offensive output in their games against us. It's not working. Afaic, we should keep Marco Coleman and fire the rest of the defensive staff tonight. I've been a Thacker apologist. No more.

Collins has proven he can recruit players and that’s about it. Let’s find out if he can recruit good coaches too.

Special teams are fantastic after sucking for over a decade.
Offense is coming together

The problem is defense. It's not a talent problem - we have studs in the back 7. It's coaching. Thacker is in over his head - let him go for god's sake.

Special teams sucks. Punter sucks. Our punt returner averages zero yards.

Place kicker sucks. Misses extra points and can't hit over 35 yards.

The only good thing about Special Teams is Gibbs returning and the onside kick team.
 
I have seen enough. Even my wife has seen enough. I don't know if Collins has lost the players, but I know he's lost most of the fans. It isn't because he's losing. It's because of why we're losing. Bad coaching. The only reasons we've been in some close games is because we're in such a bad conference that we play a lot of other really terrible teams. But, we make make them look good for one day. The lack of attendance shows how bad things are. We can't afford to keep him, if we want to keep football. Very sad.

I would never defend our defensive coaches because they have be stealing paychecks, however to say we have studs in the secondary is a crazy stretch. Just because they have been around forever and we know their names doesn’t mean they are any good.

Are we continuing to play Swilling because of his name and Thomas because we are recruiting his brother? Or is it just Collins refusal to replace anyone? The competition is king mantra is a joke.

I know this. This year, we have lost to teams that have recruited better than us and lost to teams that recruited worse than us. It is not just a talent issue.

I agree but the term ”studs” was used to define our secondary which couldn’t be further from reality.

Yes. Our defense has played slumpbuster for too many ööööty offenses
