Why I hate Virginia Tech more than UGA

Well when the fans go to the west endzone, they'll see a giant banner "HOME OF THE 4-TIME FOOTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!"

and "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS: 1917, 1928, 1952, 1990" under the scoreboard.

This. I mean I'd like to burn all of Athens down in a firestorm but at least they have a NC. They have a John Heisman Trophy winner. Va Tech has a UGAy like fanbase, consisting of every chicken ****ing, wife beating, gas pumping, wad dipping, gov'ment assistance collecting piece of white trash in the state of Virginia, yet they have WON NOTHING.

I'm surprised you ran into anyone in the concession area at Lane Stadium when GT played VPI in 2004. The game was in Atlanta on a Thursday night. :fingersx:
The "Reggie Ball stepped out of the back of the endzone" safety meltdown game. 20-12 GT to 34-20 VPI in 5 minutes, 20 seconds.

And thanks for bringing up bad memories. :p
1-4 vs. VPI since they joined the league. I don't like 'em either.
 
I hate vpi with a fiery passion too. However the premise of this thread is preposterous.
 
I hate them because Braine and others gave away "Tech". Yesterday I was talking to a VPI fan and he was telling me how Tech was doing this or that, how Tech controlled the game last year, how Tech destroyed BC, how Tech....

I made comments on his team and then when I talked about my Tech, he could have cared less. In fact, it took him a while to realize what Tech meant.

In Maryland, 20 years ago, Tech meant Georgia Tech. Today it means Virginia Tech and it galls me to think how easily we gave our name away.
