Mayor Franklin just got through running the Peachtree Road Race(first mayor to do it), and for doing it she must have a good understanding of PR. Put her politics aside for a minute and wonder if she would make a good ally with Ga. Tech in the marketing of Football/Basketball. Andrew Young helped Curry in the Dark Ages, why not Shirley Girl?
Now, she's no Ivan Allen, Jr., but those days are gone with the wind. We must play with the cards we are dealt.

I don't think Shirley would have an interest in the football program. Volleyball and Softball maybe but not football.

instead of games like that, and things like running adds at AMC theatres, why don't we do something like, oh say, beat some good teams on the field and think about the other PR stuff later.
