Why not try to punch it in at the end?

Taking a knee in the red zone is "Pussy Ball", which is something we seem to have a penchant for.

Anyways, good job on the W guys! Keep it going!

I would have loved to see us punch it in at least one more time but.... We should have done it when we had other earlier opportunities. Chan is not gonna try to hang a pointless score on someone for the purpose of looking better. He could probably care less about "style" points.

Because we had the W. Why give the Chan-haters more to moan about with an injury late in the game. I'm no Chan-lover, but this was the right decision. We had nothing to gain from another touchdown.

I would have rather seen Dwyer in there more late, but Choice has more trustworthy hands right now.

dude shut up, what a stupid comment. The win was In our hands, only an idiot would risk it. So now a win isnt good enough, we have to win with style? Shut up dude.

We probably wouldn't have been able to punch it in anyway. We managed one TD on a 10 yard drive with the help of a PI in the endzone

Just think a competitive team should always try to score as much as possible. Besides when you're up 10 points with 30 seconds left, it is next to impossible to lose.

Next time for the sake of avoiding redundancy, one "shut up" will suffice.

Nah --we didn't need it TG. Just win baby --just win.
Yeah I'm glad we won, but I would have liked to have seen the O try to be more productive by attempting to get a score late. Our O sucks right now and I think we need to try anything to get them more confidence.

What is unclassy about punching it in only up by 10?

Yes if we were up by 21, then it would be classless to punch it in, but our O sucked all afternoon and it was a perfect chance to let them score a TD and maybe regain some confidence.

I fail to see how the college I attend comes into this.

But I am happy with the win; Don't misunderstand that. I just thought that it would be a good idea to let the O play and try to score at the end.

It's cool man; I think you guys have misunderstood me with being unhappy about the game. I am ecstatic that we ended our two game skid; I just feel that we missed an opportunity at the end of the game to: 1. Make the score look a lot better (20-3 is much better than 13-3) 2. Let the O regain confidence by scoring (or at least attempting to).

Maybe next to impossible to lose the game.

NOT next to impossible to lose a player. It only takes one second to injure someone. No sense in risking that.

Why would scoring another TD have meant anything to the offense? and making the score look better is completely meaningless.

The only TD came off of a blocked punt, which means that O really had not sustained a drive, which ended in a TD. I just think it would have helped the O to let them attempt to punch it in.
