Who?? Exactly, I was browsing the roster trying to see all the new freshmen and stumbled across this young man. I pray his profile never gets out, according to RamblinWreck.com

"A non-scholarship lineman in his second stint with Tech football... joined the team as a walk-on in 2006... was a member of the Yellow Jacket cheerleading squad from April to December, 2008... re-joined the team in January."

I hope he is able to make an impact and work his way onto the field but this is ripe for the picking. I can just see all the rival websites eating this one up, "Tech has a lineman who was a cheerleader last year!!!!!"

Good grief, ohh well, hope he hits harder than a cheerleader!!

Actually he made pretty good improvement over the spring. I talked to sewak about him. Mike says he has a chance.

I'd rather have the former cheerleader that's pancaking guys than have the guy that's getting pancaked by a cheerleader.

He was roommates with one of my pledge brothers freshman year. Unless there's a loophole I don't know in the eligibility, he's actually a RS-SR. He's big as hell and strong as hell. This is the kid that carried a fridge up to the third or fourth floor of Glenn on one shoulder and had his bag in the other. I would love to see someone call him out in person.

Wow! I lived in 323 Glenn my freshman year. it's the top floor(3d), not counting the basement. Guess they have upgraded the electrical system since then, a big deal was was made about having no more appliances than a radio, box fan, and coffee pot. Course, that was '65. Guy sounds like a pack mule!

Sidetrack here. Sounds like Glenn was male then in the 60's -- when I was there (late 80's) it was female. When did it go male again and when did it originally go to female--anyone know?

I don't have any dates but here is a ballpark guess. It went to female when there were about 200/300 female students on campus (thus they were all in Glenn) and it went back to male when Glenn couldn't hold all of em anymore.

Crazy,
You've made a valid point. But, let's put the other shoe on too. How do you thing a UGyy player will feel about it when he learns he was slobberknocked to the bench by a GT Cheerleader. For a Ugyy player, not much could be any more humiliating. hehehehe

Might wind up being a sort of advertisement for GT.
"Our GT Cheerleader can whoop your UGyy's lineman's arse."
