I heard that Willie's dad is pretty upset about all this too. Yep. Pop Korn is steaming hot!
 
Blast from the past (Willy Korn and Jonathan Garner)

I get a kick seeing the Willy Korn saga play out. Over on the buzzoff board back in the day, one of the big issues was "running off" Jonathan Garner, as well as not being able to recruit a guy like Willy Korn. One of the regular posters over there always used those two arguments as to why Chan sucked. It was always, "Trey Dunmon's dad says Garner has a great arm, and I believe him". Well, I don't even see him on the roster at Marshall for his R-SR season, so I'm assuming he's out of football now? "Why can't we get a guy like Willy Korn?" He can't beat out the freshman (who looks great, I think).

It just goes to show how things in recruiting aren't predictable. Garner was Scout's 19th Ranked QB. Heck, I thought he was going to be great!

Anyway, just a blast from the past.
 
Word has it that Willy's grandfather, an officer in the Army, Kernal Corn is teed off too.
 
I heard he was going "drag" for Halloween. He is going to call himself Candi.
 
He should go to Mother of our Blessed Heart like their other back-up QB.. Saint Jon Richt. Did you see the heart warming article about how he fits in better at a smaller school and dad gets to go watch. AKA, He can't play at a big school!
 
I have no problem with what Dabo Swinney said. This is like school girls ont he playground talking about he said she said. Dabo was probably trying to keep Korn's mind headed ina positive direction and ensure that he doesn't go into a funk over not starting. He probably also meant it thinking Korn could get some snaps in certain situations. that didn't happen because of the way the games went.

Now you got this kid whose parents and him think this is still Pee Wee league and every kid gets playing time. Guess what Willie, those days are over. If you were any good, you would have seen the ****ing field. You're not, so shut the hell up.
 
Or maybe he's just trying to keep Korn around so he has a backup for Parker, and he wouldn't have to burn the RS on Tahj Boyd if Parker got injured. I bet that once they get through this year he doesn't care if Korn is there or not.
 
I heard that Willie Korn was benched because he didn't show enough grit. And when Dabo told him he wouldn't be starting, Korn said, "aw shucks!" What a flake!
 
Parker appears to have a rifle for an arm and has pretty good pocket presence for a rs fr. He's going to have a real good career at Clemson. Without an injury to Parker, I just don't see Korn getting anything but mop up duty - and the way Clemson has been playing this year, there won't be much mop up duty.
