If we are held to less than 100 total rushing, what do we do next?
And I am predicting Dwyer does not play this week.

I meant what do we try offensively if our running game is once again stuffed?

I'm going to drink a lot of beer and go do some yard work since I'll be holed up at home. That said, if you want I'll send you a pack of razor blades and you can enjoy cutting your wrists.

Not us, what does CPJ do? CPJ should put every offensive position up for grabs. Reset the depth charts. If Wommack wants to do it for defense as well, so be it.

It will be a real mess if we lose. Hence the reason I think our team will come out looking sharp as a tack this week.

Yukon is the only one that deserves to be stuffed. our O will roll up 300+ yards rushing, like in the game against Clemson

RUSHES-YARDS (NET)............ 49-301

how is the run stuffing that Miami did "again"?????

Of course you don't think Dwyer will play; he's a pussy right?

Quite the opposite. If he isn't playing or practicing my conclusion was he was more seriously hurt than what's being reported--and therefore wouldn't play.

If we should happen to turn in a performance similar to last weeks then we'll know our failures weren't just odd occurrences and we'll have to continue to make adjustments (tweaks) and hang on for the ride. Keep your fingers crossed! :fingersx:

He skipped major portions of the offseason practices IIRC. It is not uncommon for "star" players who have little to prove to practice sparingly.

Also, coaches typically have a cutoff day for Injuries where if the player is not back they won't play Saturday. If PJ has a set cutoff day we can probably find out what that day is.

When Clempsen started coming back on us, one of the key factors was we had seven straight offensive possessions without a score--most without a first down.

As bad as our Oline and Dline played against UM. If our A backs would have just simply blocked for each other we would have won the game. (or come damn close) Time to quit whinning and get focused.

Apparently Dwyer was back at practice today. Not sure how he looked or if they limited his contact, but at least he's back. Also sounds like Jaybo's back in the mix. I wonder about Coop. It may be this medical condition (? heart palpitations during the Miami game, I think I heard earlier) has really been hampering his play.

One last tidbit from the article:

".....Johnson also said the Tar Heels, who are giving up less than 200 yards a game on defense, may be the best team the Jackets have played this season. ...."

Good grief I hope not. I'm sure he meant defensive team. Hopefully that's just coach speak....:fingersx:
