Sure I am heart broken but tonight we witnessed an absolutley awesome game plan. I refuse to let idiots on this board deprive me of knowing the real deal. In the last 8 days, I have seen more heart, guts, coaching, and strategy than in my 40 years of following the Gold and White. Friedgen and a Senior Joe could not get this effort. With all the idiots on this board, with the oddsmakers putting 24 points in Free Shoes Univ pocket, with 10 academic dropouts, with, with with, these guys (coaches and players) played out of themselves. If this effort had been there in 2000 under O'Gone, we win the Clemson, Maryland, and UGA games going away. O'Gone could not hold Gailey or Tenuta's jock strap when it comes to heart. Take that and put it where the sun doesn't shine!!! Go Jackets! The future is looking mighty great!

I am surprised someone has not used the Verizon advertisement for Coleman Rudolph, "Do You Hear Me Now?".

I don't know whether to but upset or happy but
I know this one will stay with me for a long time. When PJ ran it in from midfield (I had no idea that he had that kind of speed) I allowed myself to believe. I really don't know what to say but I am several PBR's past drunk and feel the need to post.

The last 2 games have been as gutsy an effort by a GT defense as I can remember.

I think carole moore may have cost us another game. The defense wore down in the 2nd half.

FSU's defense is incredible and Auburn's is very good. I can't wait to see our offense against an average D.

I've never been prouder of a team yet I've never been more disapointed...

Great article here about tonight. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=232560052

I agree with goldmember, the emotions we experienced in this game reached both extremes. When Houston got that interception in the end zone, it seemed like we could give FSU all they wanted and we'd still find a way to keep them out of the end zone and even shut them out.

With every year that passes, we want this win even more. I hate waiting another year for the opportunity and I hate it for our seniors who won't have the opportunity again. It would have been a great storyline if Ball won this one as a true freshman. I'm proud of the team for the effort and they played a hell of a game. The final result just didn't work out in our favor. I'm just tired of losing to these guys knowing that we should be getting one in the W column instead.

Great topic. Anybody remember that song by Uriah Heep? Uriah Heep Live, the double album with the black cover is classic is you don't have it. Good old-fashioned Deep Purplish style British boogie. I've got it and it goes on the cd player NOW!

I know it's in hindsight, but :bowrofl:

Any reason we can't see all of the old threads going back to 2001 anymore? I can only see 500 of my own threads right now. Pruned?

They are all there, but ST probably only returns the first X number of posts because otherwise it will be a heavier load for server to handle each time you asked for that information.

So what's the easiest way to view such old threads then? Did you go through the search function?

Change your setting at the bottom to view from the beginning.. then just hit last or whatever for the page count. if no one bumps threads, someone can index them like page 1888 to see Oleary get bashed or whatever.
