As much as I didn't like the play calling at the end of the first half, not hurrying up and spiking the ball on the last possession was unfathomable. Sure, it's a low percentage opportunity. But that took it from low to subterranean.
If you can't get a foot going behind Burden, Devine and Joe, you're doing something wrong. On that fourth down stop, JT did too much dancing behind the line. He needed to be more Byerly-like and just go.
A lot of mistakes in a lot of areas. And I wonder just how much PJ's play calling is affected now by having a bunch of guys out there at the skill positions - receiver, A back and B back - this year who weren't even on the team a year ago or really just haven't played before.
