Would rain help us?

The rain couldn't make our offense any worse, but our defense just absolutely blows in the rain. Seriously sucks. It's just a big missed tackle fest. We lose big if its in the rain.

edit:

Good call goldmember. Thanks, that makes me feel a slight bit better.

Yea, so if we can just have rain and Stafford break his hand it might be close:)

have some of you even watched us play the past 6 years?

Rain and cold? Why don't we throw some fog in there too. Oh and while we're at it...let's have UGA's quarterback go down with an injury.

Oh wait. We already tried that. Turns out Gailey can't count to 4 in the rain. So lots of good it did.

The last time we beat Georgia in the rain O'Leary was the coach.

I'm just hoping Knowshown doesn't "make it rain" on our defense all day.

OK, seriously tho, our defense does get caught with the overpursuit quite often and the rain makes it more difficult to recover. We've seen what RBs can do when they get to the second level, and if we take a bad lane into the backfield we're going to have to pray the ball doesn't get to the secondary before the LBs can either get to the carrier or get back in coverage.

That tall white kid for Utah just sat in the zone all day at the Nut Job Bowl until their QB tossed him the ball. We couldn't move around on defense at all and were constantly out of position. Our defense is our only hope, and unless their OL regresses to early season levels rain will not help us...

The best offense in the rain is a short passing game, the same short passing game that Chan does not understand. That, and our defensive speed being negated, is why we suck in the rain/wet.
