Apparently this is what working to dominate the opponent in our state 365 days a year. In some ways I feel worse right now than I did at any point during Collins's tenure.

He said that stuff and many of you ate it up like the naive, emotional creatures that you are. Suckers!

I made a mistake. I was bad wrong.

I was ok with it at first - CBF helped us close on some of the portal guys from TAMU (as in flew to TX with CBK and sealed the deal(s) in person). And its a recruiting dead period at present so he’d pretty much be ordering office supplies in his new office.

But, I have a seething, burning hate after seeing the score last night. Without CBF, the dwags lose.
Doddgamnit. :firedevil:

The TO isn't coming back, dickwad, and PJ ain't coaching anymore.
Yep and we haven't won 6 games since. However we have hope under Coach Key... Buster Faulkner is the closest thing to an OC since Paul Johnson walked the sidelines of Grant Field. Geep Wade is 150% upgrade over any OL coach since George O'Leary walked the sidelines at Grant Field. CBK just has to manage the program and ensure the Circus that Clown Collins brought never comes back and we will be close to 6 or 7 wins next season and a return to bowl season.

I pretty much agree, though I think CBK is a much better OL coach than the OL showed in TFG's one-and-done-show at the position. CBK himself pretty much said you can't build a strong OL position group using a string of guys that are only there for one year. Anyway, I agree that the talent on hand should be plenty good for an initial goal of winning 6-7 games and going to a stinky little bowl. The greater task will be the later goal of getting back to winning 8+ games, securing a better bowl, and ending with a top 20 ranking. That might take a couple or three years. We'll see.

Clown did flip a roster that was manhandled by the Citadel into one that held its own against UG, so at least he left it better than he found it.

Lol. Taking a team that went 21-16 in the three years before he got here and turning it into a team that went 10-24 during his tenure and lost 48-0 against U[sic]GA in his last game against them is leaving it better than he found it?

Felt to me like he took us from mediocre to awful, and CBK was at least able to get us back up to mediocre during his interim period.

You mean the roster that went to a bowl before Collins got here? That might be the dumbest thing I've read on this board and that is a ööööing high bar.
First, you think what he left is the same team that went to the bowl which already dismisses your take. Second, it goes to show how much the option coaching was covering glaring deficiencies from such a “curated” roster.

Yup. After a month or so of competent coaching they instantly became competitive with UG

It was not the “roster” that was responsible for that L, it was the utter lack of preparation and game day coaching that resulted in that loss. Yet, The Clown sat at that table and placed the blame squarely on the players with that inane 40-year transition baloney. I was skeptical of him to start with but he totally lost me that day. That roster had about 8-9 future NFL players on it.
