UGA won’t make the SEC Championship game
Say it again... slowlyUGA won’t make the SEC Championship game
After Clemson's total lack of class and Clemson's blatant disrespect for Tech players, coaches and fans, I decided that I would always pull against Clemson and Sweeney. I meant it. I don't remember ND going for it on 4th down with a big lead late in the game, then calling a TO and throwing a pass towards the end zone, trying to make the score 80-7. Clemson and Sweeney did that to Tech. Notre Dame has a thousand times more class than sorry Clemson. I hope ND whips Clemson. I hope Clemson never wins another game in anything. Even if they play Georgia for the national championship . And I had a "To Hell With Georgia!" sticker on my car before most of the people on this board were born.

Unless the SEC suspends critical Gator players for the Gagger / Gator game this weekend over the brawl with MissouriUGA won’t make the SEC Championship game
Clempsen's freshman qb is better than Ian Book. And I think ND is gonna beat Clemson. Too much experience, size, speed on ND roster. They are a very polished team.
Anyone noticed ND didn't seem to care if we subbed or not? Except for the one substitution infraction, where we inexplicably tried subbing as ND was coming to the LOS, ND seemed to just wait and watch us sub players, even if the referee wasn't holding up the snap after a ND sub.
I truly think ND just wanted to run a clean scrimmage game after they were in control and chew a bit of clock. No rushing to the line to catch us subbing when they didn't sub. Almost as if they were saying "we don't care who you have in there". Not a slight on us, just I think they knew that physically they had an advantage against whoever we had out there.
ND will beat Clemson with Trevor out
ND's defense is world's better than BC. ND also is a ball control team.Clempsen's freshman qb is better than Ian Book.
You mean how ND hurried to line up to run another play with like 10-15 second left, knocking on our goal, instead of just letting the clock run out? There was a noticeable difference between how Clemson handled their big lead over us (going for it on 4th down twice with a 50+ lead), vs. how ND handled their (smaller) big lead over us (just kept handing off and grinding it out). The contrast was pretty stark.
But still, the idea of ND winning the ACC without actually committing to the conference is atrocious. Should've used COVID to force them to fish or cut bait, IMHO.
This.I hope Notre Fame never wins another game. If they played UGA I would pull for the giant meteor.
If you think they were pushing hard to score at the end you must have arrived late in the game, cuz they were grinding it out compared to the rest of the game. In their final two drives they completed one pass for three yards; otherwise it was all rushes (and GT penalties) that moved them down the field. (By comparison, in their final two drives, Clemson completed five passes for 66 yards and a TD.)You mean how ND hurried to line up to run another play with like 10-15 second left, knocking on our goal, instead of just letting the clock run out?
Well, one team was up by 18 and the other was up by 66!Clemson played everyone who traveled. ND had starting qb in until the end (stupid risk with the game coming up).
I am absolutely SURE that they were trying to score at the end. 100%. Did you see them hustling to run that last play before time expired . . . and the disappointed faces when Tech stuffed it? I've *never* left before 0:00. So yeah, I saw the whole thing.I am absolutely SURE that they were trying to score at the end. 100%. Did you see them hustling to run that last play before time expired . . . and the disappointed faces when Tech stuffed it? I did.
Please tell me I'm wrong, but I'm getting a strong impression that you are a Notre Dame fan.

Or it could have been a "pretend we need to score to win" scenario. Had they wanted, they could have called a timeout and tried again.I wonder if they suddenly realized they needed another score to cover. I bet there were some gamblers who took ND +20 that were hoping for some points there.
