Wow @ AJC article

That is pretty bad. I still am not going to get up in arms about anything until we actually start winning though. When we deserve attention like U[sic]GA and don't get it, that will piss me off.

I think this qualifies as one of those times when we deserve it.

Our 7-6 season where we lost to U[sic]GA again and got blown out in a bowl in Boise against a mid-major? No one except serious Tech fans care about Tech football right now, and even some of those gave up. Contrast with U[sic]GA and...well, I'm not going to give the gory details.

You're right that the individual kids do deserve it more than an above average(I'd assume, honestly I can't say I know much about Coutu) kicker, but no one cares about that. Go ask any of the kids at Southern or State if it's individual success or team success at the national level that garners media attention. Or just flip on ESPN, wait about 10 minutes, and then listen to a completely ridiculous and meaningless story about Tom Brady's boot.

Those turks must piss in Furman Bisher's face every morning when they pour their coffee.

Ignorant pieces of doo-doo, AFAIC.

The AJC sux..

Has anybody seen the senior bowl South OL vs DL video on rivals? Daryl Rich gets worked.

What we all need to realize is that the dog humpers have taken over the AJC and our city. As one dawg told me, there are more UGA grads in Atlanta than Tech graduates. It's economics guys.
What can we do about this, that is the real question.

Kicking their @sses in '08 would be a nice start. :fingersx:

These people no longer play for TECH or UGa. This game is about individuals securing a position in the NFL. NFL fans would be reading this article, not just UGa fans.

You're kidding yourself if you think this article wasn't solely a bone to the UGA fans reading the AJC.

That is part of what I'm saying. This is to NFL fans what recruiting is to NCAA fans. What the ajc is doing is ignoring the fact that 5 other local players played an all-star game. Thus, this is one of those times when we should not be supporting the obvious snub.

If you really think that NFL fans(who are not U[sic]GA or Tech fans) care about any college football players who are so bad that they need to play in the Senior bowl, then you are kidding yourself. The person who posted previously about this being a bone to U[sic]GA fans was completely correct. A college football all star game is about as far from a true all star game as you can get.

I can't remember the time I last spent more than 5 minutes reading a paper newspaper. The news is so old by the time you get it. You guys should come on into this century - it's nice here.

The AJC is known nationwide as one of the most inept papers in the country, because the majority of its staff come from a worthless diploma factory. Instead of getting all riled up, we should point, laugh, and give hell to any dweeb trying to sell the paper door to door.

Are you really surprised by the Atlanta Urinal & Constipation's coverage? Their journalists should be required to show their credentials on every article they write or more accurately plaguerize from the "Red & Black".
