Wow, RichRod to Michigan

I love Dodd, BUT with him as AD set our program back 20 years. Didn't he hire Fulcher and Dwayne Morrison. Had a chance at Spurrier or am I getting my timeline confused?

Spurrier had only been a college coach for something like 2 years, as a QB coach IIRC, when we had an opening. Plus Dodd wasn't AD at the time anyway it was Weaver or whatever his name was that followed him.

I for 1 hated to see Bill leave but,i understood. There are some jobs that are just heads above all the others

I'm glad you didn't include Alabama as one of those jobs. If I sound a bit prejudice it's only because I am whole heartedly prejudice. You gotta understand....

The real estate underneath Ga Tech's "two-holer" privy out house is worth more than the Alabama state capital.

Now as a matter of clarification, do you think there is any job out there better than one at GT?

Hey...even the great Bobby Dodd advised Bill Curry to leave for Alabama if he wanted a shot to coach for a national championship.

And thanks to that advice, we won a national championship four years after he left.

The best job is the one at your alma mater (outside of the NFL after you've won a couple conference championships and a national championship at your alma mater).
