I take it that you haven't heard a good answer to this obvious question either. I guess we'll get the answer after the media reads "Stingtalk" and realizes that it is a question. Reminds me of our coaches in the coaches' box who didn't question the Raleigh math that held that 3.8/2=2.2. :rolleyes:

If Pitt and Cuse play in the ACC in 2013, will the TV contract be renegotiated for that season?

Probably, but hopefully it will not go down too much.

In the current environment, I don't think the Big East has much incentive to keep Pitt and Syracuse beyond 2013. The only remaining obstacle would be negotiating a payout, and I would expect some prorated amount using the WV deal as a starting point. The Big East could end up with nothing if the ACC is willing to wait until 2014, and that uncertainty will create headaches for them in their scheduling. If the ACC doesn't look desperate, they should be able to move ahead for a fraction of what WV paid.
