the majority of players making plays for us were here before gailey came on the scene, think about it.

The facts are if we had the tallent level out of the ones we have left that we should have we would not have to be playing any of the 15 0r s0 freshman we are having to play at this time.Look at some of the teams some of you said we were equal to in tallent when Gailey came and you won't find any freshmen or very few on their three deap yet we are having to start and play a large number. Some will say flunk gate and injuries is why. All I'm saying is if the group we had left were as good as has been said we would still not have to play all these freshman.Originally posted by toe meets leather:

We usually have one or two freshman on each side of the ball that contribute and one that makes a splash. I would say that Wrotto and Ball are making significant contributions and Ball is making a splash. In general, I like the non-OL recruits that Gailey has brought in. I particularly like the three LBs we brought in last year (Hall, Moore, and Wheeler) and Adam Oliver. I think Gailey does a very good job of evaluating talent in general, but we need to bring in more bodies. We need to use all of our visits and scholarships and not shy away from competing with major programs for recruits.
