....just said on SportsCenter that Georgia Tech once beat Columbia 233-0. He'd be one heckuva anchor if he were funny or smart.

I'm sure the prompter had the right info, but have you seen that man's eyes?

We should be giving him credit for at least knowing it was our record. Another anchor would've confused us with Central Florida, or you know who.

The only thing that bugs me about Stuart Scott is that despite being 46 yrs old he tries to act like "one of the boys" when he is interviewing kids half his age. It is kind of silly.

HOWEVER....have to give the man credit. He had his eye slammed by a football while covering the NYJets about 10 years ago and went into emergency surgery. He has suffered from drooping eyelids ever since. To top if off, he has battled cancer a couple of times over the past 5 years.

So...he is a pretty tough guy.

Thank you for clearing that up...I have always wondered if his eye always looked like that.....

Wow... We get mention on SC (in a positive light mind you) and we still find something to gripe about? We are a miserable fanbase...

Is Stuart Scott the original token black guy on ESPN?

In all seriousness, was he the first black dude working for the mothership (as an anchor)?

He is the reason we even are able to use the phrase, "Token Black Guy"....

I think John Saunders was ahead of him.

Props to Stu for all he's been through. He still sucks at his job, however.

Stephen A. Smith ... once fired from the High Point (N.C.) Enterprise. Now trying to outscream fellow dingleberry Skip Bayless every morning.
Dear God, I hope the Mayans are right.
