I will be glad when the Vad Lee experiment is over. If he is our starter next season we might not be bowl eligible. Justin Thomas not much of an upgrade. I hope Jordan has something, or maybe Byerly will man up and take the job from the "athletes".

I think it's unfair to say that JT isn't much of an upgrade when the coach only puts him in when we are starting from inside our own 5.

I agree. If Justin had as many snaps as Vad, I think we'd see a nice improvement. He's faster for sure.

For someone who is supposed to be greased lightning he sure does lose a lot of yardage. And the way he carries the ball away from his body, he is a turnover just waiting to happen.

I'll just call him Reggie Ball 2.1

I hope vad wins this game so yall can shove this thread up your asses

Unless he he yanks his jersey off and reveals a red and blue suit with an S on the chest, he won't win either this or any other game by his lonesome. But no worries, if we lose, our shoddy defensive play will defect enough criticism away from your golden boy.

you can put manziel behind that offensive line and you won't see anything different. i don't understand why you will so easily put down the players but not the guy who's had this team for 6 years and is the sole person responsible for the offensive playcalling. your defense kept ole miss to 23 pts, you're down by less than a td and xp, 4.5 mins left and you got the ball. if you can't rally your offense to win this game from here you need to quit today.

I really need to find a Tech message board where people know football.

It's odd how people say "Vad Lee" when they mean "pass protection." The two phrases don't look anything like each other.

Both the grounding and the pick were due to no pass protection. Vad tried to do the right thing on the grounding. He did force the pick, but the alternative was taking a sack which, with no timeouts, would have effectively ended the game as well.

Yep.

A lot of you guys are saying the same thing about Justin that you guys said about Vad last year. In fact, I'm sure it's the same set of dumbasses that bashed Tevin and called for Vad to get more playing time last year.

I think it's at least somewhat rational for someone to say CPJ has been sucking at QB development but all this "let's play the 2nd string guys just because the 1st guy sucks" makes absolutely no sense.

We all need to stop hyping up players even before they play the game.

At least Reggie played with öööö fire when he was out there. Plus, teams like Miami, VT, UGAg were much better (IMO) when Reggie played.

Look, Vad is a great kid. Justin probably is, too. Neither runs our offense well. Tevin was so much better at running our offense than either of them. Nesbitt was better than Tevin. Jaybo, if he had not been injury prone, would have been special running the option offense. Get a quick footed, smart, good ball handling, great vision QB and we will be unstoppable. Put in kids who make poor reads and have poor footwork coming out from under center and going down the line, or who will not option the end well and pitch just before getting popped, and things will stay the same.

77,
I said that Vad coming out of hischool would take a LONG time to learn the TO since he did long snap and deep fake to RB.VERY few can run this OFF in 2 yrs.
