CPJ probably promised things. That's why he should go. He can't beat recruits that he didn't even consider and very few get better.

Regardless who the blame is on its hard to deny vad is just not a d1 athlete
 
1 game vs Edsall's more talented defenders (relative to JH). Let the season play out and we will see.

I'll admit I'm an idiot when you stop claiming that Vad played against Clemson in 2012. :wink:

But in all seriousness, I was one who thought Vad should have gotten more playing time in certain games of 2012. I recognized that Tevin had a better grasp of the offense and deserved to start, but I felt Vad had more big play potential and with more in-game reps, could grasp the offense well enough to look rather seasoned by the start of 2013. Well, obviously that theory was wrong. Vad looked as clueless running the offense at the end of last season as he did at the beginning of it. Clearly he just wasn't the player some of us thought he was going to be.
 
Saw some throws today from JT that VL would/may not have made. Also saw at least 4 "make something out of nothing" by JT that VL did not show last year and left little expectation of doing this year.

Getting off the bus Lee looked better than Tevin. Who knew it would be the opposite on the field. You knew GT1992. Now you can get over it Nastradumass.

This is a very butthurt, childish thread. I hope we do better with JT and Byerly and it sucks that VL didn't wanna stay with us but no reason to make fun of him because he didn't do well with his FCS team against Maryland.

You wanna put JT or Byerly behind JMU OL see if they do much better?

Just let it go, onwards and upwards.

Fans never stepped in the arena. We don't know jack öööö what will happen. Hell a former ship LB laughed us off for even suggesting they would score 20. Well blocked extra point saved his ass

Personally, Logan, I put the blame on your shoulders. If you had done a better job twitter trolling him when he verbally committed to GT maybe you could have actually persuaded him to sign elsewhere instead.

But alas, you failed at that as well.

Yep, you are right. Tevin was a better fit and player for us than Vad ended up being. I wanted Vad to play more because I figured that even if he ended up being worse, I'd rather have the guy with the higher upside out there, getting experience and learning the system. It became clear last year though that if he has a high upside, it wasn't going to be reached with us.

However, this thread is dumb coming from a fanbase whose team just struggled against Wofford shortly before its creation. Maybe if James Madison had played us Vad would have looked a little better.
 
It's not fair to judge Vad by his performance against an FBS team when he's on an FCS team.
