"Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops and several Sooners players attended a protest Monday following the release of an online video depicting members of a university fraternity making racist chants.

The viral video, which surfaced Sunday, shows members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chanting a racial slur and indicating blacks would never be admitted to the fraternity. The chant also references lynching.

Stoops and multiple players were photographed attending the on-campus protest Monday morning. The longtime coach told the Tulsa World that he considers the video "appalling."

"It's sad the ignorance that can still be there with some people," Stoops told the Tulsa World. "It's just appalling."

I'd wager similar things happen at every southern university with fraternities

why southern? northern fraternities are all very politically correct? I've heard a bunch guidos and micks in wall street say a bunch of racist öööö before. And they were all from the northeast, and a bunch of them took part in the greek life in their universities.
 
Somebody ruin Nick Saban's day by secretly filming their SAE chapter during one of their closed door functions and watch the decommits fly. Actually, you could probably replace SAE with any southern non-integrated fraternity at any campus in the south and get similar results (even the SAEs at our beloved campus are total jerk offs).

you could do that every university including our own and nobody would commit to anyone. People need to start learning to not say dumb öööö in the age of smart phones.
 
Might I remind all recruits reading this board that Atlanta is one of the centers of black culture.
 
Too bad that SAE chapter probably won't face KA Psi or A Phi A or Omega Psi Phi in any intramural games this term.
 
Why does it always seem to be SAEs doing all the dumb crap, at least going back to the mid 90s? Maybe it's just perception, but my first reaction was like "SAEs. Figures."

when i was at Tech there were two fraternities on campus that had it written into their charters to not allow black people

neither of them were KA

how do i know? because one evening we stole our Presidents keys who was also the head of the IFC and we entered their offices and read them

yeah, we broke all kinds of laws that night. alcohol was also involved
