If you are blaming JT for either of these losses you are an idiot.

Surely you have heard about the record number of missed assignments last week? And that record may have been eclipsed today.

Our offense can't function with 2 and 3 guys in the backfield. That's 100% on the OL.

He's been good, but not amazing. Last year he was regularly getting us first downs on broken plays, not so much this year. Let me reiterate, he's still been good.

The defensive game plan against us is simple. Prevent JT from making plays and force the others to do it.

And the others just don't have it. Instead of taking angles to the sidelines, our ABs seem to think it would be better to stop and change directions.

Smoove looks bigger, yet half step slower. Is this just me?

It is a matter of being double and triple teamed. He has nowhere to go thanks to missed blocks.

Thanks for the expert analysis Mrs. Thomas.

Well said

I've seen this movie before. QB running for his life on every down. It's not JT's fault. Some of those guys need to grow up fast and they need to grow up now.

I saw a lot of bad decisions by Thomas on options. But my biggest concern was he looked so much slower than last year just running. Has he put on weight or something? He looked like he was running with lead shoes.

Sorry, game goat goes to special teams, offensive line, and Thomas. This was the worst performance of a QB in a long time, not just Thomas' worst performance.

The future is grim with the likes of prohibitive favorites Clemson, F$U, dwags on the schedule, and then we have to sweep the remainder of UNC, ThugU, Pitt, UVa, and VPI just to make it to 7-5. I don't believe we will sweep those five either, so where does that leave us?

Yes. Even on plays where he's not running for a life, the fact that he has to worry about it will impact his play.

Football players are tough; they can take one or two big shots when they're not ready for them and keep playing without fear. But when you need to worry about that on a third of the plays or more, there's no way you don't start playing differently to try to avoid them.

I agree, I thought he would have been even faster on a soggy ass field with LBs running at him in all directions.

I think the guy you're quoting is a mental midget. JMO.

I'm surprised it's not as bad today. I thought we would have had a full retard parade on stingtalk after the loss. It's been mild so far.

Most people starting threads right now haven't posted since the Vad Lee era.

To be fair, they were Duke LBs. He should have easily run away from these guys.
