We are better off without the bad influence that quitters bring to the team. I'd rather have less talented players or younger players, who love Tech and want to play as part of our team.
The people who quit will live to regret it. Quitting is not a good character trait. Long after the people who quit the team are gone and forgotten, Paul Johnson will still be winning big games and having great seasons at Tech.
I don't know. I feel this season is actually a pretty good representation of what happens when you have a lot of effort but not a lot of talent, and the result isn't pretty. We are better off without the bad influence that quitters bring to the team. Alright, ban me if you have to because I'm sure this post won't be very popular, but I think this year's problem is weed.
Jabari missed two games for "team rules," which is the codespeak for failing a drug test. Our offensive line for the first five games kept talking about how "confused" they were, couldn't make the same presnap reads they were making last year, etc. We've got Vines of our guys literally running straight past each other in the Duke game while a Duke player jogs past them both to make a tackle. The whole thing from front to back has screamed "lack of focus."
We look like Falcons era Vick out there.
Weed. We have a weed problem.

Winning big games - 2-6 vs vt; 2-5 vs um; 2-5 vs ugag.
Best season, YET, lost to puke & n.c.
Needs to turn this thing around by beating ugag THIS year.
