Calvin contemplating retirement

If anybody ever earned one season past high school with a top-flite QB it is him.

If he wants to win enough, he should go to the Patriots.

The most interesting from a QB vantage point to me would be to pair him with a guy like Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Newton (please no) or Wilson who can buy insane amounts of time scrambling behind the LOS before chunking it long to him.

unfortunately it's not as simple as just 'wanting to go to' a certain team. Not sure there's target room on GB with Jordy coming back (and their bizarre insistence on trying to get fatass Eddie Lacy the ball) and Big Ben's already got Antonio Brown.

KC Chiefs would be a good destination, IMO. Smith is the most accurate dink and dunker in the league and CJ would be the # 1 guy without question. Alex might even mysteriously discover a deep ball. Has the dude ever had any receivers? (I'm a big Alex Smith believer, same for Andy Reid)

Yeah, I get that. There's definitely a contender out there that could find room for Calvin, though, provided the price is right.

Carolina would be a good fit. Ted Ginn is fast as hell but too inconsistent. Benjamin is their most similar player and has been out for the year. They are probably banking on him coming back next year though.

I hope you're right. It'd suck for one of the greatest WRs ever to be stuck on a dogshit team like DET.

Agreed. As a Falcons fan, however, this is the least desirable outcome.

Charlotte's not far from Atlanta...I'd imagine Cam could use a nice veteran wide receiver, and Kelvin Benjamin and Ted Ginn Jr could get some teaching.

Alex "Captain Checkdown" would be terrible for Megatron. He's only good for dumping it off to RBs and TEs.
