Last I heard, it's by geography so would not want to switch recruiters late in the game. I don't consider Roof's absence to be significant. They may be saving Roof for the close.
 
This might be the worst recruiting class I've ever seen at Tech.

The lone exception being Chan's first class
 
We pissed away all of last year's momentum and then some. If we had won even 8 games this year's class would be gangbusters. You would think anyway.

I have always found it amazing that normal students clamor to get into a school like Georgia Tech, but athletes generally are trained to take as easy of a path as possible.

I don't know about that, but after our stellar 3-9 season, there's certainly not half as much as excitement about recruiting compared to last year when we landed Brad Stewart, Victor Alexander (decommitted from UCLA), Marcus Marshall, and Anree Saint-Amour to close out the class. Now we're raiding the likes of W. Kentucky, Liberty and ULL trying to round out the class. This methodology doesn't exactly instill confidence.

Regarding worst classes, retrospectively I think 2013 takes the cake, since we signed 14 guys and 6 of those guys have since left the program or were kicked off the team, leaving us with a whopping 8 guys from that class with really only six guys contributing so far (PJ Davis, Devine, Jeune, Chris Griffin in 2014 only, Butker, & Corey Griffin).

It always makes me laugh when GT fans point to unproven talent as a bird in the hand.
 
BOR is a genius for ditching his season tickets on the 50 yard line. This program isn't going anywhere with Bud Peterson and Mbob at the helm. 2 enormous losers.
 
Don't get too excited, he has not committed to us yet. All these dudes are a crap shoot no matter where they are from or where they are going.

They're all unproven.

My point is we've done it before, so poaching a ULL lean or commit isn't uncharted territory.

I definitely agree with you about peterson. Guy is a joke at a huge level. Total loser.

MBob...not sure for me yet. I know many don't care for him...not ready to write him off yet. He was handed a bad deck of cards with coaching situations and left over salaries and budget....As some of that ends...lets see what/if anything better happens....
