Marcus Marshall??

Losing both Mills and Marshall would be a typical GT offseason. Weimerskirsch bitches!

Seemed to work out pretty well for both Laskey and Days splitting time -although if Laskey hadn't gotten injured, Days may not have had an opportunity to emerge like he did.

This. IMO, Marshall/Mills combo has great chance to be better than Days/Laskey.

Does he look like he couldn't block?
It's not so much a matter of being ABLE to block for most RB's. Supposedly that's the main reason Mills jumped him on the depth chart, so perhaps that's why he's not on the field at AB.

Is there any talk of this anywhere else? I don't see it on The Hive or the hive.

They locked it on the hive. Down on page 2 now. Rumor is true. Not sure when it will break wide open, but players know.

I only see that his sister is going to uga. Maybe someone saw something about his sister and panicked and thought Marcus was going to Athens.

This came across my Twitter feed where somebody asked Quinlan about it yesterday, was the first I heard of it.

If this is about playing time he would be stupid to leave GT. CPJ will find ways to get him touches but if he transfers he 1. Must sit an entire season so zero PT and 2. beat out the 6 other 4-5* backs at uga. I don't see this being true. If so I hope he reconsiders

Even if Marshall left, I would highly doubt he'd go to UGA unless he just wants to be with family and doesn't care about football anymore. He had more carries this season than last, and all he has to do is look at what happened to Keith at UGA to know he'd end up getting far fewer carries there. AT UGA, KM went from 117 carries his first year, to 56, 12, and 68. MM had 86 carries last season, 96 this season, and came on very strong at the end.

Yep. Lots of smoke. There is a post on the hive saying he's cleaned out his room. It seems very strange.

After the last 3 games, it's hard for me imagining Marshall being a backup next year. Not that he'll be the feature, but certainly CPJ would find ways to get him the rock.
