Saban's special sauce is that he has more than one assistant coach to every player on his roster, and probably twice as many per recruit. Nobody from his tree is going to replicate his success unless they can reshape an entire school.

They were preseason number 1 but couldn't hold off the Vols. I'm sure we will hear for years about how they were #1 in the preseason though.
