We know Tech is never going to be in the same stratosphere as the Tide, Clemson and UGA's. It would be nice if we could out recruit the Wakes, Orangemen and the Blue Devils but not even sure if we can now do that. I do know that CPJ does give us a shot at competing with these teams on the football field due in large part to his unique style of offense. That is all!

He is definitely NOT an option QB. I suspect Clemson will go more traditional offense with him under center and out of the gun. He is not a direct replacement for Watson

I think I mischaracterized his skills in my reply in that, although he would do well in our O, he would be a proto pocket passer. He can really evade and take off. He seems to be a taller (but not as heavy) Deshaun Watson with a bit more wiggle in his run. He's very athletic for his size/height.

Most likely. Eason cost them games this season, primarily because he's afraid of getting hit (makes bad decisions to release at slight pressure, slides feet first on runs, drops to the ground if there's a stiff wind at his back, etc.)

Playing in Washington State probably will do that to a kid. I wonder if he would have even started for a top Georgia high school team?
