Assuming its Matthew Jordan, how does it change this offense from JT? I love how hard MJ runs but I dont like how he never pitches the ball. Not sure if that's what he was coached to do at the time or if he naturally doesnt pitch it? I do think 3rd and 4th and short will be unstoppable for us again. A return to the Nesbitt years! Nesbitt was almost automatic for 3rd/4th and 1.

Is there any chance MJ doesnt win the job, though? Who's his competition?

Don't assume. When you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME.

Also, there are already a couple of threads discussing this.

That's pretty original. Damn it, I searched for the threads on this subject. Must be buried underneath an unrelated title.

I hope taquon marshall can give matthew jordan a challenge at qb1. I think he has elite speed and can be a home run hitter for us from that position

I'd say qb by committee.

I am drunk at Champy's right now. Thwg

who's the best athlete in this group? That's the person who should run the offense..and throw the ball sufficiently to keep the defense honest. I think the guy from California is the one.

Experience in the O makes a big difference. If it's Jordan, look for the return of midlines and the rocket toss to keep the edges honest.

I just hope whoever it is will be able to hit the long bombs when a defense sells out to stop Dedrick, just like UK did on the last scoring drive.

Jordan would run the base offense and running plays quite well. The question is passing. Justin Thomas was a great passer. Think of how many passes were right on the money against U.K.; most incompletions were drops. JT had the skills to be QB in a pass oriented offense; he just lacked the size. His ability to throw the ball will be missed.

Jordan's passes vs VT were terrifying ducks.

I'm fine with Jordan IF he learns to be a better passer. Otherwise we need someone who can pass and run the reads right.

Agree with the first part. The second part is what worries me about Jordan as our QB. He hasn't shown the ability to be a passing threat whatsoever. That's why I'm honestly kind of hoping Lucas Johnson takes well to the option, because he definitely has the passing skillset to at least keep defenses honest.

How are they at higher order ODEs?

Can they write efficient code or are they dependent on a lot of nested for loops?
