I like how he has recommendations of things that CPJ should try to improve recruiting.

Dang, why didn't CPJ think of all of those things before?

one of the worst dumbest opinion pieces that i have ever read about Georgia Tech sports
the "author" is too much of a dumbass to even realize the main reason why Tech finds it hard to sign players from the State of Georgia

It would have been an interesting question to compare CPJ's rate of landing in-state premier talent to that of his predecessors to at least acknowledge the school's contribution to the problem.

But such a question would only occur to a journalist interested in facts and reasonable conclusions. As opposed to the whiny vag who wrote that piece of drivel.

This article is a shame... We took more Out of state players before Coach Ted Roof got here.... Also CTR and CMP have opened up LA.... Most of our team comes (80 to 90 percent) from GA! Then the 90% of the Out of state players come from the Carolinas, FLA, BAMA, Tenn or LA.... We use to get a few from DC/NE... Coach Ron West was hire to help with National recruiting and he has done a nice job.... But make no mistake about it, Tech has a ton of players from Georgia. We are a not a factory so we are not looking for factory kids... This article should have never been written... You cannot and should not ever compare Georgia Tech to the like of a factory school ever!!!!!

Ya, that "advice" was hilariously weak. I mean it basically boiled down to...

Q: What can be done to make Georgia Tech a more attractive option for Georgia’s blue chips?
A: Recruit better.

Cade isn't brave enough to fill out a bio telling us his credentials. What a pussy. My guess is we have another North Georgia communications major.
Home-state schools are supposed to have an advantage over the opposition when it comes to retaining in-state talent, but we’ve seen the exact opposite phenomenon since Paul Johnson took over the reigns back in 2008.

Reigns had already graduated, played in the NFL and CFL and retired from football before 2008.

Paul treats kids like kids and won't kiss their ass. Chan kissed everyone's ass and never beat georgia. Would it be great to have a coach that loved recruiting AND was a great gameday coach? Yes. Can we find one?

Who are the best gameday coaches that aren't at the big instate school but still pull big time recruits?

Shaw- Stanford
Gundy-OSU
Dantonio-MSU

Maybe I'm missing one or 2 but most of those guys are locked in where they are and none are in SEC country recruiting against them. Georgia does not have great academics and the SEC has been shoved down these kids throats since they were little.
