Pitt fan reactions

Turns and specials in their favour. But that is all.

I enjoyed the Pitt fans in front of me. They came in acting like Steelers fans in all of their arrogance and quickly tired of our offense. It got really good because one of the fans was an older woman who had no idea what was happening but was trying to fit in and clap and yell when she thought Pitt did something good. So she was going nuts over our 6-12 yard runs up the middle and her husband was telling her to shut up.

This is one of my favorite parts of the offense. It lets you see other fans brought so low that they'll start cheering for their defense giving up decent chunks of yardage. Even if we haven't broken loose for a home run play, they start seeing a couple of plays where we're either one block, one cut, or one poor tackle away from turning 5 into 50.

What's even funnier to me is when you see the opposing players themselves initially celebrating, then looking over and realizing they just gave up 5-7 yards in that 2-3 seconds from the start of the play to the end.

I took a peek at a Pitt board, figuring they'd be pretty insulting given their coach's comments. Aside from one "cut blocks should be illegal" post, they were mostly focused on how bad their team is, complimentary of our fans, and oddly positive about our attendance relative to theirs despite a miserable turnout yesterday.

Anyone see their players dancing to the rap music during the timeouts. I thought that was pretty funny.

Was hoping that Buzz was going to lay into their mascot when they were sparring

Something about not throwing rocks while living in a glass house. Something something

Only difference being that our in state rivals only have the outward appearances of inbred, redneck pedophiles.
The only person from my high school to attend Penn State transferred after a couple years to UGA. Coincidence? I think not.

I pull for Pitt in almost every game. Especially against Penn St, VippySue, and the rest.

I prefer Pitt to win against basically all the other teams in our division, mostly out of self-interest (especially when we hold the tie breaker over them).
