Unlike Tennessee, Miami had the better team. With that said. CPJ made a great call late in the game with Braun and Marshall going out against one defender on 3rd down. Braun falls down and Marshall can't out run a great play by Miami DB. Stewart play. 4th and 10. These are the ones that come to mind that could have won the game. Just didn't happen.
I thought this drive bad poor clock management. First, we called a timeout with 15 seconds left on the play clock. Second, the pass led to an incompletion, stopping the clock. Miami probably calls a timeout if they stop us on 3rd down on a run, but it still makes them use one. If not, that's 55 seconds we could've had off the clock. With 55 seconds left in the game, Miami was at the GT 44 yard line, a 61 yard field goal try.

We didn't do a great job of running the play clock down in previous drives, either.

Not only that. We snapped the ball with 15 or so seconds on the play clock a few times with the game on the line. We should not even APPROACH the LOS with more than 15 seconds on the play clock with a lead that late and the game clock rolling.
