Spring Game to be on a Friday night

Rules, Jr is in Pensacola, leaving Monday to go to California to fly F-18's, and needs a good review of the team. I told him Y'all were the best at this öööö.

I think we looked much sharper than we have looked in prior scrimmages. Lucas Johnson is a stud. Tobias is a stud hampered by not being a live player. He would have broken several but was barely touched down. solid at Bback and Aback. Benson and Howard are studs.

Offense has good depth. Not sure on big play making ability, but very solid.

We ran a lot of heavy set stuff with 1 WR to the field side and an extra OL. Biggest wrinkle I saw tonight.
 
Best thing to me was Clinton Lynch looked like he did 2 years ago. No question he just wasn't right physically last year. He is just good.

Great to see first team offense score in last minute of the half. Of course the first team D gave it up....
 
So far I'm not hearing much bad news...

Here's something negative: I tried to attend the game. Traffic was so bad, then the lots were all full, so around 7:30 I said the heck with it.

I parked in Klaus, like a moron. Should have parked at Student Center. Student Center is just easier to deal with.

I originally was going for Peter's deck, but pulled into Klaus due to traffic. I just underestimated the crowd. It wasn't too many years ago getting into Peter's parking deck was a breeze for the game. From here on, it is Student Center for me.

But was the crowd all there for the game? Or was there something else going on? Was there a noticeable uptick in attendance this year?

Decent crowd. Only softball also going on, as far as I know. I've seen less there.

I'd bet the student center lot and deck were not full.

No argument though Dave's voice is shot and he forgets lyrics now and sounds like öööö. Conversely, JBJ was a total pro. Great First Concert for my kids.

But enough of that - how did our PK look? Sounds like our backup QB is solid.
